It is an inductive instrument for measuring the volumetric flow rate of conductive media. In addition to measuring the volumetric flow rate of general conductive liquids, it can also be used to measure the volumetric flow rate of strong corrosive liquids such as strong acids and alkalis, as well as homogeneous liquid-solid two-phase suspensions such as mud, slurry, and pulp.

    Clamping electromagnetic flowmeters are divided into two types according to the structure and one type.   2. Select the fluid medium according to the measurement

    Electromagnetic flowmeters can only be used to measure conductive liquids, not non-conductive fluids such as gases, oils and organic chemicals. For fluids with electrical conductivity above 20µS/cm, just select a general type meter. Capacitive electromagnetic flowmeters can be used for liquids with electrical conductivity greater than 0.01µS/cm, and for slurry fluids containing solid particles and fibers.
  3. Choose flowmeter according to use

    Electromagnetic flowmeters are divided into submersible type, explosion-proof type, health type, high pressure type and general type according to their use. Submersible type is generally used for open channel flow measurement; Explosion-proof type is used in the environment that may have explosive gases, such as often used in coal mines, chemical industries, oil fields, etc. The sanitary type is characterized by easy disassembly, washing and disinfection, and can be quickly installed, suitable for food and medicine departments; The high pressure type is used to measure and control the liquid flow of drilling circulating mud, cementing cement mud, hydrochloric acid in fracturing and acidizing process, and high pressure water injection in oil production process. The general type is used for general purposes other than those described above.
  4. Select the sensor caliber

    The measurement of the electromagnetic flowmeter can be continuously adjusted over a wide range. Generally, the adjustment range of the upper limit flow rate measurement is 0.3~10m/s, and the lower limit flow rate measurement can be in the range of 10% or even lower, and it is recommended to measure the flow rate in 1~5m/s, so the same flow rate can be measured by different caliber flowmeters. In this way, the economic flow rate can be selected according to the field process pipe diameter size of the instrument. In special cases, the calibre can be selected to meet the user’s high precision measurement requirements; Or reduce the flow rate in the sensor to reduce the wear of the fluid on the lining; Or increase the flow rate in the sensor to prevent the precipitation of solids.
