The difference between dry water meters and wet water meters lies in the measuring mechanism. The impeller is separated from the central gear, and the upper end of the impeller is connected to the magnetic element at the lower end of the central gear by a magnetic element (magnetic ring or cylindrical magnet). When the water flow drives the impeller to rotate, the magnetic components on the upper part of the impeller and the magnetic components of the central gear suck in or repel at the bottom of the magnetic phase. The central gear rotates synchronously and the central drive counter records the water flow through the water meter.
