The non full pipe flow meter is composed of an electromagnetic flow velocity sensor, an ultrasonic water level sensor, and a flow display instrument. Precautions for installation of non full tube electromagnetic flowmeter:
- The location and orientation of the device are determined according to the requirements, but the electrode axis needs to be horizontal.
- It is necessary to ground the non full tube electromagnetic flowmeter to reduce the introduction of interference signals. There are two requirements for grounding: first, it is necessary for the grounding wire of the sensor and converter to be conductive with the measured medium, and second, the ground should be at zero potential.
- To avoid signal interference, it is necessary to use dedicated shielded wires for the signal line between the sensor and the converter, and to thread them separately in the grounding steel pipe. The signal cable and power cable cannot be placed in the same steel pipe.
- When the flow meter device is underground, it is necessary to set up an external well.
- The unstable activity of the medium has no impact on the measured values, so there are no special requirements for the front and rear straight pipe sections of the device flowmeter.
